Toshiba’s Mini NB205-N210 netbook has a beautiful design and comfortable keyboard, and on top of that its battery life is simply fantastic: up to nine hours!

This minilaptop weighs under three pounds, is powered by an Intel Atom N280 1.66GHz processor, 1GB DDR2 RAM, a 160 GB HD, and XP Home. It comes with the Intel GMA950 Graphics Media Accelerator. There’s a webcam, mic, and standard 802.11b/g wireless. The 85 key keyboard is nearly full size and has gotten a thumbs up in user reviews. The netbook is compact (10.4 x 7.6 x 1.3 inches) and weighs under three pounds. Finish is a gorgeous textured onyx black. It’s a stunner and a nice holiday deal at only $310 at Tigerdirect.

Toshiba’s mini NB205 netbooks are out. Although they’re new to the market, these mini-laptops deliver quality, durability, and performance, and do so at a decent price (starting at just $329).

The Mini NB205 battery (5800mAh) actually lasts over six hours. Toshiba’s netbook also has special shock protection features to protect your data. They also have perhaps the most comfortable touchpads in the class. The keyboard, though non-standard, offers a feel similar to larger computers, with raised keys and separations. The new Atom processors (1.66 GHz Atom N280) offer better video playback than the older 1.6 GHz versions. Finally, these mini-laptops protect their appearance with fingerprint resistant covers.

The mini NB205 comes in onyx black, royal blue, sable brown, posh pink, and frost white. All models come with Windows XP. They also have built-in webcams and 802.11 b/g capability. I’d recommend spending the extra $20 for the better battery.
