HP Testing Google’s Android for Some Netbooks
Just in from WSJ: HP is considering replacing Windows with Google’s Android in some mini-laptops.
HP is the world’s largest PC maker. Android is a software originally designed for cellphones. Testing is in progress and no decision has been made.
Seems like a natural transition: Android gets larger; notebooks get smaller; at some point, the two intersect.
